This week’s schedule & Qs

Primary Announcements
June is Men’s Mental Health Month
Please take a moment to read this…it is very important for all of us!
Here are some sobering thoughts, since it is June and it is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.
- Suicide remains the leading cause of death in men aged 15-44
- Men die four years younger than women from preventable causes, and….
- Men remain significantly less likely to seek help when struggling.
It is OK not to be OK. Lean on your brothers, share in COT as it is a safe space or call a friendly PAX for someone to listen and offer support. We are stronger together, never, ever forget that!
At COT yesterday we went around the circle to see what we can do to promote positive mental health in our group…here’s what we came up with.ScarU
- Regular check-ins– battle buddies is a great concept, we can even expand on this to add a text chain for monthly check ins via text
- Share at COT– the more we get real and open up, the next guy who is feeling down will feel more comfortable to share- it is a safe space..that’s what it is for
- Get resources to share- we talked about getting the group certified in mental health first aid and also accumulating other resources that can be shared.
Swolstice Qs needed to represent F3 Princeton!
F3llas –
As the NJ Summer Convergence approaches, Dark Chocolate is looking for volunteer Q from F3 Princeton to lead a 15-minute beach workout. This is a great opportunity to represent our region and share your leadership. We’d love to have one primary Q and a backup volunteer. Last year we had @Sachin Kulkarni (Scoop) & @Fred Kelly (Grassy Knoll).
If you’re willing to step up, you’ll design the workout, and I’ll coordinate the details with Dark Chocolate.
Who’s in? BE ALL IN!
Peace.

Ragnar River Relay – 8/7
Through distant F3 friends, I see some running the Smokey Mountain Relay (200+) and Tobacco Road Relay (75mile) both in North Carolina this weekend. When folks are done with the Schuylkill River Relay (31 miles) tomorrow we should plan to form an 8-man team with @RedCoat at the Ragnar WV trail relay (Aug 7-8, 117 miles)! @beater @Harjot Pannu (Cruiser) and @Harkawal G.O.A.T are already in ultra teams for this event! Who’s in? Registration by June. RedCoat and Lowes are also recruiting for the Blue Ridge Relay (Sep 11-12, 208 miles). https://runragnar.com/pages/race-trail-appalachians

Blue Ridge Relay – 9/11
Any runners interested in Blue Ridge Relay Sept 11-12? Lowes of F3 Indian Valley is forming a 12-man team. @Harjot Pannu (Cruiser), others and I have run this race before. It’s a lot of fun. Ask anyone who’s run it. If we are ambitious, we can try to field a NJ team. Alternatively we can join Lowe’s team.

📅 Fri 25 SEP 2026 – Sun 27 SEP 2026
@Marc Rubenstein (ScarU)’s video captured it perfectly — this is more than just a weekend getaway. It’s an opportunity to step away from the noise, embrace challenge, strengthen bonds with other men, and recharge physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Freedom-Ops have a way of pushing men outside their comfort zone while building deeper connection and perspective.
I’ve never done this, but been hearing about it, I am considering to do it. If you’ve never done one before, consider this your invitation.
If you can, get registered by 2359hrs today for lower registration price. Checkout the website https://event.freedom-ops.fit/gte-74
