Primary Announcements

2024 Winter Solstice Ruck

This past Saturday evening the F3 Princeton region held it’s second annual winter Solstice Ruck! Around 30 PAX showed up with something extra heavy in their rucks, and marched South on the D&R Canal for an hour before turning around and heading North to do the same.

8pm: Initial group of PAX met up at the Turning Basin Park and began marching South
9pm: PAX turned around and headed back to the Turning Basin Parking Lot.
10pm: PAX arrived back @ the Turning Basin Lot and dropped the Ruck for a short break before heading North! Some PAX had to leave, and some new MuthaRuckers arrived!
11pm: PAX turned around and headed South back to the Turning Basin Parking Lot
12am: Back @ Turning Basing Lot. Circle up for Count-O-Rama, Name-O-Rama, Welcomed FNGs and posed for a PhotoFinish!

Good morning,
Thanks for showing up on a cold night for Winter Solstice Ruck. I’m sure you will not forget the torture of weight over your shoulders. My feet and shoulders are still sore from running with the Rucking bag. I only slept 4 hours and woke up to take a HOT shower  to ease the pain.
Young studs were a big help in carrying the Team weight

Join Swish for a run / walk on his 50th Birthday! – 1/11

I’m training for a half marathon in South Orange, NJ (about an hour north of here) on Saturday January 11, which is my 50th birthday. The race includes a half marathon at 9:00 am, a 10k at 9:30 am, and a 5k at10:00 am: https://runsignup.com/Race/NJ/SouthOrange/NJTrailSeriesSOMOWinter2. All are welcome. Non-runners can walk the 5k and still probably finish before me . We’ll go for coffee/food afterwards (around 11:30 am at a nearby restaurant TBD).
